How it Works

One original entry per person.

Drop off your submission at the Library, mail it to us, or email a copy to us by April 30, 2025.

Make sure your entry contains your name, age group (K-3rd, 4th - 5th, 6th - 8th,  9th - 12th, Adult), and contact information (email and/or phone number).

Multiple prizes will be awarded across age groups and categories.

Categories
Written Poetry: Any subject, style, format, or length.
 

Spoken Word: Original poetry, recorded with or without video. Entries may be submitted through Google Drive, Facebook Messenger, or email.

Blackout Poetry: Mix art and language to make something new out of something old.
