National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a fun, empowering approach to creative writing. The challenge: draft an entire novel in just one month. For 30 wild, exciting, surprising days, you get to lock away your inner editor, let your imagination take over, and just create!

Find worksheets that will help you work out plots, characters, or timelines as well as fun and inspirational notebooks, pencils and stickers that will help you keep going when "writer's block" hits.

NaNo Prep 101: Weekly exercises to help you build your novel. From a developing story line to managing your time, we love this step-by-step workshop. Super fun way to spark an idea or overcome a bit of writer's block. Their "random" generators are fun to use and might be just what you need to get started.
