It's our BIRTHDAY!!!

June marks 60 years since a group of enthusiastic and dedicated community members donated books from their own collections to form the Security Public Library! We are waiting until next summer to have our big celebration when there are (hopefully!) fewer restrictions.

In the meantime, stop by the library any time during the month of June and sign our commemorative banner!!

Kindness Campaign

This summer we are asking all of our community members to participate in the KINDNESS CHALLENGE. Our community is amazing and we want to tap into its great capacity to spread kindness. Pick up a kindness tracker and your participation wristband, and add your name to our "Wall of Kindness". If you finish the entire challenge before the end of summer, please come by the library to pick up a small gift from us as a way to say thank you for spreading kindness!

This program is designed for all age ranges to participate, so partner with your family and friends to complete the challenge.
